Always think before you speak. I constantly have to remind myself of this simple idea. Too quickly do our mouths open and speak before our brain has time to come up with an answer. Apply this to times when you are arguing with a friend, acquaintance, or partner. Sometimes you can sound like a huge idiot because you didn't think before you spoke, or you can hurt someone's feelings because of a quick lip! I know I have done this numerous times. =0S
